Description
In this classic adventure novel, Treasure Island, Jim Hawkins, who is helping his parents manage their inn, finds himself on an adventure following a treasure map, believed to be pointing to the evil pirate Captain Flint's stolen treasure. He is joined by Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawny, but they ended up including the pirates who were once crewmates of the heartless pirate.
Regarded as a coming-of-age story that teaches moral lessons, the novel is also responsible for the attributes commonly associated with pirates today, like one-legged men with parrots and marking treasures on a map with the letter "X" to name a few.
