Online Return and Exchange Policy
It is important to us that our valued customers are fully satisfied with their online purchases. We have a 30-day return/exchange policy in place to make your online purchase the right one!
If you receive your online order and are not satisfied for any reason, you can RETURN the product to our bricks and mortar store by mail, or you can EXCHANGE the product in-store for another item of equal value.
We need to have the following criteria met in order for an item to qualify for a credit note or exchange:
- The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase, with original receipt or packing slip
- - The item(s) must be unopened, unused and in original packaging in resalable condition
In order to ensure this criteria is met, all returns will be inspected. If the product does not meet this criteria, we reserve the right to not issue a credit note.
All refunds will be issued in the form of a Sputtergotch Toy Company Gift Certificate (credit note) which will be sent to the invoiced shipping address (if returned by mail) or will be given to the customer (if returned in–store). This credit note will only be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected by us.
In order to return an item by mail, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. In your email, please include the following:
- Full Name
- Order Number
- Current Mailing Address
- Product you are returning and quantities
- Reason for the return
Once you receive an email confirmation with your RMA number, you may mail your item(s) to our shop at the following address:

Upon receipt of your item(s), we will inspect them and provide you with an email confirmation. Please pack your returns with care! Return your items in a sturdy box with plenty of packaging. Provided the items meet the criteria indicated above for returns, we will then issue you a Gift Certificate for the amount of the item. Please note The Sputtergotch Toy Company does not reimburse any shipping costs for returns.
Damages in Shipping
We must be notified within 7 business days if your package arrives damaged in shipping. Please retain your original shipping box. Please contact us at email@example.com and we will follow up to process a pick-up of your damaged item and make arrangements for a replacement.
We stand behind all of the products we sell, and if you experience a product defect, please let us know right away! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact information, the item in question and a description of the defect. We will then contact the manufacturer regarding warranty, return or replacement procedures. We may require a picture of the item to verify the defect with the manufacturer.
