CATAN: Explorers & Pirates includes 5 novel scenarios, each of which builds upon your previous experience. In each, you explore an unknown sea by ship and build settlements on the discovered islands. Explore CATAN! Build harbor settlements, ships, settlers, and sailing crews and set out across mysterious seas in search of new lands, spices, fish, and gold fields.

-The included scenarios increase in difficulty as you get familiarized with the rules
-Adds depth and complexity to your games of CATAN
-This is an expansion. A copy of the following is required to play: CATAN
The previous and current editions of CATAN can be used together. Certain product combinations have distinct card backs, which can be resolved by purchasing CATAN-sized card sleeves or replacement cards. Some accessories may not be compatible across editions due to changes in component size or design.
