Description
Diner Talk serves up a heaping helping of nostalgia in a classic 1950s diner setting! This lively collage is packed with mouthwatering favorites from “two dots and a dash” (that’s bacon and eggs) to a “blue plate special” dragged through Wisconsin (yep, slathered in cheese). You’ll spot diner lingo throughout the scene, from “frogsticks” (that’s French fries) to the Atlanta special (an ice-cold Coca-Cola).
Stacks of golden waffles, fluffy pancakes, and slices of apple and cherry pie make this table a feast for the eyes and there’s even a strawberry shake, or “in the hay,” to wash it all down. Look closely and you’ll spot a few playful Cobble Hill Easter eggs tucked into the ticket, menu, and more.
Pull up a stool, pour yourself a coffee, and piece together the delicious language of diner culture!

Our mission
At the Sputtergotch Toy Company, we believe in creating active imaginations. You will find high quality and unique playthings we would buy for our own children, not to mention great gift ideas for the young at heart.
Our Name? Well of course there is a story behind it. Picture twin toddlers with spoons in hand, discussing the benefits of homemade butterscotch pudding. Years later, they still call it Sputtergotch. And it still makes us giggle. A funny word, a smile, a treat….and the perfect name for a toy store!
