Under the cloak of light roleplaying and a dinner party with friends, players take on the roles of suspects after a murder has occurred, all attempting to expose which one of them is the murderer. The host prepares the setting and players can dress in costumes and playfully act their parts over hours of suspense and intrigue. All that is required is a sense of humor and a light-hearted approach toward deceit, larceny, sex, and… murder.
In the Watersdown Affair, you have received an invitation to the English Countryside to weekend at Watersdown Mansion, the elegant home of Sir Roger Watersdown. You and your dinner guests will assume the roles of eight worldly characters visiting there when tragedy strikes the 1930s country estate.
